Uncle Giuseppe’s Coming to King of Prussia and Moorestown

Uncle Giuseppe’s Marketplace is making a move into the Philadelphia region, with two approximately 58,000-square-foot stores planned for King of Prussia, PA and Moorestown, NJ. Both are expected to open in late 2027.

The King of Prussia store will be located at DeKalb Plaza, replacing the former Hobby Lobby and marking Uncle Giuseppe’s first Pennsylvania location. The Moorestown store will open at East Gate Square in space currently occupied by Barnes & Noble and PetSmart.

Long Island-based Uncle Giuseppe’s currently operates 13 stores in New York and New Jersey. The specialty grocer differentiates itself with an Italian marketplace experience featuring fresh mozzarella and pasta made in-store, an Italian deli, scratch bakery, extensive prepared foods, full-service meat and seafood departments, specialty cheeses and imported Italian products, along with a complete traditional grocery offering.

The two leases represent a significant expansion for the growing chain. King of Prussia gives Uncle Giuseppe’s an entry into Pennsylvania, while Moorestown establishes a presence in South Jersey and creates additional brand density around the Philadelphia market.
