Sprouts Farmers Market opened its newest Pennsylvania location on October 2 in Limerick, continuing the specialty grocer’s expansion throughout the Philadelphia region.
The approximately 23,000-square-foot store features Sprouts’ typical smaller-format concept, with an emphasis on fresh produce, natural and organic foods, bulk items, vitamins and supplements, and prepared foods. A noteworthy tidbit is that this corner in Limerick (West Ridge Pike and Township Line Road) now has five grocery stores. Sprouts joins Aldi, Lidl, Giant, and Target at the intersection.
The Limerick opening follows several recent Sprouts openings in the region, including new stores in East Windsor and Sewell, New Jersey. The company recently reached the 500-store milestone nationally and continues to be one of the more active grocery chains in the country.
Sprouts is also planning a new location in Havertown, PA, expected to open in 2027.
